Annual Alumni Game

About the Alumni Turkey Day Game

One of the Skatesmen's most cherished traditions is the annual Alumni Turkey Day Game, held each year on Thanksgiving morning. The event brings together generations of Skatesmen players for two alumni matchups: the Veterans Game and the Young Guns Game.

These games provide an opportunity for former players to reconnect with teammates, relive their playing days, and celebrate the lifelong friendships built through Skatesmen hockey. Alumni of all ages return to the ice each year, continuing a tradition that strengthens the bond between past and present members of the program.

The alumni games serve as a prelude to the annual Webster Groves vs. Kirkwood Turkey Day rivalry football game, making for a memorable morning that showcases the pride, history, and community spirit that define Skatesmen hockey. Whether you're lacing up your skates or cheering from the stands, the Alumni Turkey Day Game is a special opportunity to be part of the Skatesmen tradition.

And make sure to join us on Friday, November 27th for the Turkey Day Varsity Hockey Game at 1:30pm against Kirkwood!

Whether you're a recent graduate or a Skatesmen alumnus from decades past, we invite you to reconnect, support the program, and help continue the tradition of excellence that defines Webster Groves Skatesmen Hockey.
